Happy Easter everyone! If you watched my stories, Happy Easter everyone! If you watched my stories, you will be pleased to know I succeeded in my quest to get a @bitsysemporium ridiculous egg on Friday. It was next level good!

Hope your day is full of chocolate and cheer!

Ten years ago today I went on a date with this dud Ten years ago today I went on a date with this dude. According to him, it was love at first sight of his Doctor Who socks that did it for me. 🤣

A lot has happened in the last ten years. There have been the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Kids, marriage, new homes, jobs, cars. The last two years in particular have tested us and that was without throwing a global pandemic into the mix.

There were times I didn't think we would make it, but ultimately you're my best mate and although you're totally infuriating at times, there is no one else I would rather grow old with. Love you, jerk. 💜

We made it to the end of our first half term....ju We made it to the end of our first half term....just. Was my mental health hanging on by a thread? Yes. Do I need a vat of gin to get me through half term? Also yes.

If like me you have been wondering what to do this half term, The Spark Festival is here to inject some virtual sunshine! Spark is the largest independent children’s arts festival in England and includes the very best local, national and international theatre, dance, music, interactive workshops and live- streamed events around. This year it’s all online meaning more people than ever can get involved. Don’t miss the packed programme of live and on demand events, from theatre and storytelling to music mash-ups and sofa dancing.

We've seen all sorts over the years, from Baby Opera, to Sponge dancing and all sorts of discos. We've got Potato Needs a Bath booked this year (swipe right!) and the boys are going to look for a couple more events. It's on till 20th February, I've popped a link in my bio. Tell me what you book!

I have spent so much time in it recently I haven't appreciated it as much as I should. We are about to embark on a renovation project soon, so everything is a bit topsy turvy, so here is my garden looking lush in the snow.

It's been a difficult month. I suffer with seasona It's been a difficult month. I suffer with seasonal affective disorder and when the clocks go back I struggle with the dark nights and mornings. What usually gets me through it is my love for the season, entertaining and hosting my friends and Christmas planning and activities. That usually sees me ok until January.

Obviously this year it's different. None of that and I have let my self wallow a bit in what could be, rather than what can be. Control the controllables. I can't control what is going on with this virus, but I can control how I let it dictate how the rest of the year pans out. So be gone, Grinch! And hello Buddy the Elf. 🤣

What have I missed whilst I have been on a break?

Is it even Autumn if you haven't posted a picture Is it even Autumn if you haven't posted a picture of your shoes surrounded by fallen leaves?

Half way through October already. For a year where we couldn't do much, it sure has flown by! The boys break up for half term on Friday. Wondering if the government will announce a two week lockdown over the half terms. Place your bets now!
